  • Group visibility commands
    • commands let you unhide all groups, hide all groups except the active one, and quickly switch to the next or previous group.
  • Close editor group commands
    • VS Code-style commands to close the current split pane and merge its tabs with another group.
  • Linked folder commands
    • Commands to load more files within a linked folder group and to unlink groups as needed.
  • Tab control commands
    • Commands to keep the active ephemeral tab open. Related commands for ephemeral tabs and deduplication now have improved availability checks.
  • New note creation shortcut
    • Hold Alt/Option while clicking the new-tab button to instantly create a new note in a new tab, instead of opening an empty tab.
  • Double-clicking to toggle Zen Mode
    • Double-clicking a tab header promotes ephemeral tabs to regular ones; for normal tabs, it toggles Zen Mode.

    • Commands to rearrange tab groups, such as “move the current tab group right, left, above, or below”.

    • Dropdown menu in tab headers for quick navigation between groups and tabs.
  • Status Bar Indicator
    • Status bar item displaying the current tab group with its icon and name; click to open the group switcher.
  • Equal Split Distribution
    • Double-click resize handles to evenly distribute split dimensions among sibling panes.
  • Split Direction Commands
    • Commands to toggle the active split’s direction between horizontal and vertical layouts.
