• Tab numbers
  • Show numbers on tabs for keyboard shortcuts. Numbers can stay visible, or appear only while Ctrl/Cmd or Alt/Option is held.
• Sessions (Supercharged Workspaces)
  • Save your workspace as named sessions, automatically persisted. Easily create, switch between, or fork sessions to separate and manage your workspaces.
• Unload background tabs
  • Unload background or inactive tabs to free up memory without closing them.

• Chrome-like Tab Groups
  • Visual tab grouping with colored headers and collapsible sections, similar to Chrome’s tab group feature.

• Zen Mode in pop-out windows
  • Apply Zen Mode to pop-out windows and switch their tabs with the enhanced tab switcher.

  • Setting to automatically scroll the active tab into view in Vertical Tabs when switching tabs.
• Frontmatter titles
  • Option to use frontmatter properties as tab titles instead of file basenames.

  • Search bar in the Vertical Tabs view for fast tab filtering.
• Persistent group view and linked folder
  • Persist group view customization and linked folder assignments after restart.

• Group visibility commands
  • commands let you unhide all groups, hide all groups except the active one, and quickly switch to the next or previous group.
• Close editor group commands
  • VS Code-style commands to close the current split pane and merge its tabs with another group.
• Linked folder commands
  • Commands to load more files within a linked folder group and to unlink groups as needed.
• Tab control commands
  • Commands to keep the active ephemeral tab open. Related commands for ephemeral tabs and deduplication now have improved availability checks.
• New note creation shortcut
  • Hold Alt/Option while clicking the new-tab button to instantly create a new note in a new tab, instead of opening an empty tab.
• Double-clicking to toggle Zen Mode
  • Double-clicking a tab header promotes ephemeral tabs to regular ones; for normal tabs, it toggles Zen Mode.

  • Commands to rearrange tab groups, such as “move the current tab group right, left, above, or below”.

  • Dropdown menu in tab headers for quick navigation between groups and tabs.
• Status Bar Indicator
  • Status bar item displaying the current tab group with its icon and name; click to open the group switcher.
• Equal Split Distribution
  • Double-click resize handles to evenly distribute split dimensions among sibling panes.
• Split Direction Commands
  • Commands to toggle the active split’s direction between horizontal and vertical layouts.
